My professional journey shows a transition from leadership in the creative industry to inclusive education. As I continue the path to education, I deepen my understanding of how creativity, accessibility, and connection come together to support meaningful learning experiences for students. Under the mentorship of Ms. Jennifer Gor, I design and implement inclusive lessons in literacy, social studies, and the arts. My teaching emphasizes creativity, accessibility, and collaboration, integrating assistive technology and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) to support diverse learners. -
Toronto District School Board — 2024
Supervised by Ms. Grace Gor and Ms. Amy Tam, I gained early classroom experience supporting differentiated instruction, guided reading, and play-based learning. Collaborated with teachers to create hands-on centers that promoted literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development in primary students. -
Textur Studio — 2013–2023
Designed and led individualized learning sessions for apprentices and emerging stylists. Focused on creative skill development, technical mastery, and client-centered communication. Fostered a positive, supportive learning environment grounded in reflection and growth. -
Town of Markham / Main Street Dance / Independent Programs — 2004–2007
Taught dance, drama, and musical theatre to children and youth, emphasizing creative expression, confidence-building, and teamwork. Designed engaging lessons that nurtured artistic growth, rhythm, and self-expression across diverse ages and abilities. -
Centre for Dreams — 2008-2009
Worked with adults (21+) in their transition out of the public school system, contributing content and execution of teachings pertaining to daily personal hygiene, household habits and task completion. Further, I worked one-on-one with individuals to strengthen academic skills closely connected to functional living, including handling monetary transactions and telling time.
